Sharon Lin Tay: Profile
Sharon Lin Tay is Lecturer in Film Studies, and teaches courses in film theory, world cinema, and digital culture. Her work is sustained by a commitment to feminist politics and revolves around film theory, the specificities of filmic materiality, and filmmaking practices. She has published journal articles and book chapters on feminist film theory, Deleuze, world cinema, women filmmakers, and digital culture; and writes for various film and media publications. Amongst other things, she is writing a monograph on feminist political film practices and exploring the development of film theory in conjunction with innovations in digital technologies and the emergence of new media.
