Cruel/Loving Bodies 2, Hong Kong Arts Centre, 8 - 28 July 2006

Cruel/Loving Bodies was curated by Sasha Su-Ling Welland and exhibitied at Shanghai Duolun MoMA and Beijing 798 Space in 2004. The project was further developed as Cruel/Loving Bodies 2, co-curated with Stella Fong for Hong Kong Arts Centre and the Goethe Institute in 2006. The original artists were Bai Chongmin/Wu Weihe, Neil Conroy/Lesley Sanderson, He Chengyao, Anthony Leung-Po Shan, Mayling To, and myself, joined by Rosanna Li Wie-Han and Zheng Bo at HKAC. For Cruel/Loving Bodies 2, Notes on Return was installed in HKAC’s 5th Floor Pao Gallery, projected onto three banks of paper suspended from the ceiling, and situated alongside Years (2006), and works by Lesley Sanderson and Mayling To.
